Grades 1 – 12
We run dedicated Saturday school and afternoon extra classes for learners from Grade 1 to 12. We focus on critical foundational and matric subjects including Mathematics, Physical Science, English, and Accounting, providing worksheets, past papers, and mentoring.
Food Security
No learner can focus on an empty stomach. We provide nutritious daily meals and food support for vulnerable children and learners attending our educational programs. We also distribute food parcels to child-headed and struggling households in Jabavu.
Youth Livelihoods
We assist unemployed youth with job searches, career guidance, CV writing, and general digital skills development. We provide free internet access so young people can browse opportunities, submit institutional applications, and apply for learnerships and bursaries.
Early Childhood
We operate a local day care facility to support families and single parents in the community who are unemployed or unable to afford traditional childcare fees. We ensure young children learn, play, and grow in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.
Sakh'ulwazi Foundation was established in Jabavu, Soweto with a clear vision: to empower vulnerable children and unemployed youth through education, nutrition, and dignity.
We help children from vulnerable families by assisting them with extra classes and feeding schemes, and assist unemployed youth to search for jobs, choose careers, and gain skills so that they can be empowered. We provide internet access so they can browse for jobs and make applications to tertiary institutions and employers.

To print past exam papers, math worksheets, study guides, and youth CVs for over 500 learners and job-seekers who cannot afford commercial printing shops.
Non-perishable groceries (maize meal, rice, canned beans, soup mix, soya, cooking oil) and fresh vegetables to feed hungry learners before and after extra classes.
We need desktop PCs, laptops, and monitors to allow youth to practice digital literacy, complete online job tests, and apply for bursaries and learnerships.
Passionate university students, retired teachers, or professionals to lead weekend Saturday school and afternoon tutoring sessions for grades 1 through 12.
